Sony FE 50mm F1.2 GM Lens: the Best 50mm Lens for Full-Frame Mirrorless Cameras

Sony has just officially announced the new Sony FE 50mm F1.2 GM Lens (G Master). It can focus as closely as 40cm (15.6″) and has a max magnification of 0.17x. This new lens costs $1,998, first available for pre-order at B&H/ Adorama/ Amazon.

Sony FE 50mm F2.5 G, FE 40mm F2.5 G and FE 24mm F2.8 G Lens to be Announced Next Week!

A few days ago, Sony officially announced the new Sony FE 50mm F1.2 GM Lens (G Master) (B&H/ Adorama/ Amazon). Now, according to the latest rumors from Nokishita-C, there are FE 50mm F2.5 G, FE 40mm F2.5 G and FE 24mm F2.8 G Lens are expected to be announced next week. All are compact G lenses.

Yesterday, Sony officially announced the new Sony FE 50mm F1.2 GM Lens (G Master) (B&H/ Adorama/ Amazon) . Now, according to the latest rumors from Nokishita-C, the next lens that Sony will announce is a compact G lens, which maybe FE 24mm, FE 40mm and FE 50mm lens.

Sony FE 50mm F1.2 GM Lens Officially Announced, Priced $1,998, Available for Pre-Order

Sony has just officially announced the new Sony FE 50mm F1.2 GM Lens (G Master). It is an ultra-fast premium full-frame lens with the same size and weight as the Sony/Zeiss 50mm F1.4 .  The lens uses three special ‘extreme aspherical’ elements and a Nano AR II coating and an 11-blade aperture.
