Sony will soon announce Sony FE 50mm F1.4 GM lens. It will be a compact and affordable new fast standard prime G Master lens.
The lens code is “SEL50F14GM” and it will basically be a more compact and more affordable version of the current Sony FE 50mm F1.2 GM lens. Also, it may be sized similarly to the current Sony FE 35mm F1.4 GM lens.
It seems quite likely that this lens will be announced in the near future. The size of the Sony FE 50mm F1.4 GM lens is said to be similar to the current Sony FE 35mm F1.4 GM and it will be about 1cm smaller than the current Sony FE 50mm F1.2 GM. Also, if the weight is the same as the current Sony FE 35mm F1.4 GM, it will be about 250g lighter than the 50mm F1.2.
