DXOMark tested the sensor of the newly released Nikon Z8. The CMOS sensor of Nikon Z8 achieved a high DXOMARK score of 98 points, the same as Sony A1 and Nikon Z9.

Nikon calls Nikon Z8 the “successor” to Nikon D850, and it’s not so difficult to see why. Nikon Z8 is an immensely versatile and flexible camera. While the speed advantages of a stacked CMOS are clear, image quality is also excellent.
