Nikon Z6 III is coming near! NR leaked the rumored specifications of this new high-speed continuous shooting camera. It is rumored to be officially announced in Q1 2024.
Below are the rumored specifications of Nikon Z6 III:
- to be released in early 2024 (between January and April)
- New 24.5 megapixel back-illuminated sensor
- Better ergonomics compared to Z6
- Supports 6K ProRes RAW video
- pixel shift
- Vari-angle monitor
- Faster continuous shooting speed than Nikon Z6 II
- Same or similar AF system as Nikon Z 8
- Mechanical shutter and electronic shutter
- Hybrid body design between Z6 and Z8 (larger than the current Z6/7, but smaller than the Z8)
Continuous shooting seems to be faster on the Z6 II, but since it is equipped with a mechanical shutter, the new sensor does not seem to be a stacked sensor.
Also, the AF seems to be inherited from Nikon Z8, so we can expect a significant increase in performance.
