Along with new AF-S Nikkor 35mm f/1.8G FX lens, Nikon will also announced a new entry-level DSLR body and a DX lens at CES 2014.
The new entry-level body is Nikon D3300, and the new DX lens is AF-S DX Nikkor 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6G VR II lens.
The new D3300 will be the successor of Nikon D3200 which is released two years ago. Specs of Nikon D3300 is not available yet, there has a leaked image of Nikon D3300 before.
The new AF-S DX Nikkor 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6G VR II lens will be significantly smaller and lighter (less then 200g) when compared to the current model. It will feature a new collapsable barrel (like some 1 Nikkor lenses) and 7-blade rounded aperture.
