According to NR, Nikon is rumored to release a new firmware version 2.1 for Nikon Z9 in the next 7-14 days. The new firmware includes AF fixes and improvements, but will also include some important updates.
It is rumored that Nikon’s new APS-C mirrorless camera will be announced at the end of June or early July, so we think there will be multiple announcements on the same day (the new Z 400mm F4.5 is also expected to be announced).
The new firmware for Nikon Z9 seems to be a surprisingly big update, including improvements in AF. Also, it seems that the previously rumored APS-C mirrorless camera and interchangeable lens may be announced at the same time, and if Nikon Rumors expected, the next Nikon announcement will be a large one.
