Nikon Nikkor Z 28mm F2.8 Lens Announced, Priced $296.95, Available for Pre-Order

Nikon has just officially announced the new Nikon Nikkor Z 28mm F2.8 lens. It is a fairly compact prime lens with 9 elements in 8 groups, two of which have an aspherical design. Two stepping motors (STM) drive the lens’s focus group. The minimum focus distance is 10cm (3.9″) and the max magnification is 0.2x.

Nikon NIKKOR Z 24-200mm F4-6.3 VR Lens to Start Shipping on July 3

Good News! According to the latest news from Nikon-Image, the newly announced Nikon NIKKOR Z 24-200mm f/4-6.3 VR Lens (B&H/ Adorama) is expected to start shipping on July 3, 2020. It was officially announced in February and was expected to start shipping in April. Howerer, it is delayed.

Once it is released, this new lens may be good for the kit lens of the entry machine Nikon Z5 which is rumored to appear.

Nikon Z9 (D5 Like) Z-mount Mirrorless Camera Confirmed

Several days ago, NIKKEI confirmed that Nikon will release a new mirrorless camera price around $1,000. Now another Japanese news site Nikkan Kogyo Shimbun talked with Nikon CEO Toshikazu Umatate, and confirmed that Nikon will also release a new high-end flagship Z-mount mirrorless camera which is similar as currently Nikon D5 DSLR camera (or upcoming Nikon D6). Though the release date is not available yet, maybe in 2020 to 2021.
