Nikon COOLPIX P900 is a superzoom compact camera, offering a 16MP sensor and a mind-blowing F2.8-6.5 24-2000mm equivalent zoom. It features built-in Wi-Fi with NFC, 7 fps burst shooting, built-in EVF and a fully articulated 3″ 921k-dot LCD. The P900 is capable of 1080/60p video recording and uses a new Dual Detect optical image stabilization system, claiming up to 5 stops of shake compensation. Nikon Coolpix P900 will be released in April for $599.95.

Sigma dp0 Quattro w/ 14mm f/4 lens Announced
Along with Sigma 24mm f/1.4 DG HSM Art Lens, Sigma also announced a new Sigma dp0 Quattro compact camera, it features a fixed 14mm F4 lens (21mm equivalent) along with the unconventional styling of its peers. Its Foveon X3 sensor is divided into three layers to record red, green and blue wavelengths separately. Its bottom two layers each contain 4.9MP to record color information, and the top layer captures 19.6MP of resolution/luminance information. Price and availability are yet to be confirmed.

As rumored before, Nikon will soon announce a new special version of Nikon D810 designed for deep-sky astrophotography with increased hydrogen-alfa sensitivity. Now we have received more confirmation of this camera, the name will be called Nikon D810A, and there will be several new COOLPIX cameras to be announced soon for CP+.
