First Rumored Specs of Canon EOS 90D (32.5MP, 10fps, 4K60p, Dual SD Card Slots, Price $1,399)

According to latest rumors on CR, a new specs list of upcoming Canon EOS 90D or 7D Mark III is rumored on the web. According to previous rumors, EOS 80D and 7D Mark II will be replaced by one camera. This specs list seems a move up to EOS 80D, while not the real replacement of 7D Mark II, maybe 7D Mark II will be replaced by new EOS R mirrorless body in near future.

Updated Canon DSLR and Mirrorless Roadmap

Several days ago, we already posted rumored Canon roadmap for the first half of 2019. Now according to CR, Canon will announce 3 new APS-C DSLR cameras in 2019 too, and a total of 3 EOS R bodies and 5 RF lenses before Q2, 2020. Rumors also said that Canon has scrapped at least one DSLR camera in development.

Here is the rumored Canon roadmap for the first half of 2019. Since Canon EOS R announced, there will be no new cameras & lenses to be coming in rest of 2018. We’re now going to see more emphasis from Canon on rebates and deals for the upcoming Black Friday & Cyber Monday shopping season. According to Nokishita Camera, Canon is testing the second Canon full frame mirrorless camera in wild, this camera has a 26MP full frame sensor, same megapixel as current Canon EOS 6D Mark II. The release date for this camera is within 1 year, probably in 2019.
