CAPA CAMERA WEB posted the best selling products of Yodobashi Camera’s interchangeable lens digital cameras in the Second half of August 2024. Canon EOS R5 Mark II (B&H/ Adorama) wins the top 1 position , followed by Nikon Z8 body (Amazon/ B&H/ Adorama).

This time, Canon has five models, Sony has two models, and Nikon, Fujifilm, and Olympus have one model each.
In first place is the Canon EOS R5 Mark II body, released on August 30th. This full-frame mirrorless camera has a back-illuminated stacked CMOS sensor with approximately 45 million pixels, a new image engine similar to the flagship model “EOS R1” scheduled for release in November, and deep learning technology, which has greatly improved its AF and continuous shooting performance.
Canon EOS R5 Mark II has been attracting attention since its announcement. We would like to see it ranked next time, but the day before the release date, Canon announced a delay in delivery. Currently, it is possible to order it, but it may take more than six months for it to be available. It may disappear from this ranking for a while.
