If it still packs the same 18 MP sensor it won’t matter.. they’ve been flogging that dead horse for too long as Nikon/Sony/Pentax have all surpassed their hardware.. but yay.. you can have a nice touch screen! LOL!
Really? I would put up any dslr against the canon 1dc any day, none of those brands you just named come close to that camera.
Depends what your shooting.. For PRO models the ONLY thing Canon still holds decent ground in comparatively is sports/action due to decent low light performance. Portraiture, Landscape, general use, when you compare camera models against their competition in class things look very different.. and it’s a tough pill to swallow for any DSLR’s that are under $1500 especially.. You can have your $15K 1Dc, and I’d take a D800e for under $3500 and a whack of amazing glass. Also Canon usually offers less features per competitive model, less dynamic range and colour depth.. Canon has put ZERO effort in the past few years improving their APS-C line’s sensor technology and it’s showing! But face it, their T#i line has been the #1 mommy cam for a reason.. good advertising and plenty of marketing dollars to push their product.. good on them, they sell well. Most of that line of camera’s probably didn’t even need any other modes than “Auto” maybe even try for “P” mode?
ya I just got into photography, so I did a lot of research on cameras before I bought one. All the professionals from last year say the canon 5d mark 3 is the best dslr in the world as of last year. I’m not a professional by far, I’m just going off of what all the professionals are saying. So I’t’s hard to listen to what they say, and then listen to someone say the opposite.
