The name is now on Nikon’s own sites, not just in a rumor post. Nikon Rumors says Z5IIC listings started appearing on Nikon web pages, and posted screenshots of a Nikon Germany launch offer plus a Nikon Imaging Japan event filter that treats Z5IIC as a camera you can tick, next to the Z5II.
That is a step on from Friday’s “next week” item. NR has also tightened the spec list: no viewfinder (the bump hedge is gone), IBIS, a new AF subject class called Fish, black or silver-top editions, and a date — September 24.

What actually leaked on Nikon pages
The German screenshot is a mobile view of nikon.de/de_DE with a “Z5IIC Launch Offer”: order the new Z5IIC camera or kit and get a free backpack and wrist strap. NR presents it as a page that showed up on Nikon’s site. We are not treating that promo as a live deal, and there is still no body photo of the C on those captures.

The Japan capture is nij.nikon.com, September 2026, “filter by equipment.” Z5IIC sits in the same chip row as ZR, Z9, Z8, Z7II, Z6III, Z6II, Z5II, Z5, Zf, Z50II. That is Nikon’s event UI using the product name, not a photoshopped spec sheet.

Updated rumor list (still a rumor)
| Sept. 18 | Sept. 19 (NR) | |
|---|---|---|
| Position | a7C-series competitor | Direct a7C-series competitor; based on the Z5II |
| Sensor | Full-frame 24 MP | Unchanged |
| IBIS | Not listed | Yes — no stop rating |
| Finder | No EVF, or built-in with no bump | No viewfinder |
| AF | — | New recognition mode “Fish” |
| Video | “New video features” | Still no codecs or fps |
| Colors | — | Black, and silver — silver is the top plate only |
| When | Next week | September 24 announcement; UK “exclusive product presentation” Sept. 25 |
Do not fill in the rest. NR did not publish price, dimensions, a kit SKU, or what “Fish” actually locks onto. IBIS here is a yes/no, not a copy of the Z5II’s 7.5-stop claim. The Sept. 25 London session is a calendar NR has been pointing at since early September — Nikon has not said that event is this camera.
NR also recirculates the China N2528 / N2324 / N2527 filings and a mid-September server-maintenance window. This post does not map Z5IIC onto any of those codes.
