OM Digital will announce a new very high end camera in 2024.
According to 43Rumors, OM Digital will announce a new ultra-high-end camera in 2024. It maybe:
- E-M1X successor
- High-end PEN-F
- Something completely new and different
When it comes to ultra-high-end models, the successor to Olympus E-M1X comes to mind first. It seems that the E-M1X did not sell very well, but OMDS said in an interview, “We are aware that some users want a body like this, and we are continuing to consider it,” so we are considering a successor model.
Also, we don’t think the PEN-F is a camera that pursues performance such as continuous shooting speed, so I feel that an “ultra high-end camera” is a little different from what users are looking for.
So, what will happen?
