It is confirmed that Nikon will refresh current AF-S Nikkor 400mm f/2.8G lens with a new version. The new 400mm f/2.8G II lens will be priced $500 over current version.
This new lens could be announced as early as this week with Nikon 1 S2. The release date will before the start of the FIFA World Cup in June, 2014.
