According to the latest news from SAR, Sony will soon announce a new FE 70-200mm F4 Macro lens. It will be lighter and more compact than the current Sony FE 70-200mm F4 G lens.
For 70-200mm range, Sony F2.8 through GM has been remodeled to the Mark II type a little earlier, but it seems that the F4 through G will also be the Mark II type. The new F4 G adopts a completely redesigned optical system, is stronger for close-up photography, and is lighter and more compact.
