According to CR, they updated a new specs list of upcoming Canon EOS 7D Mark II, which is supposed to be 90% accurate. Not like rumored before, 7D Mark II won’t have “Baby EOS-1” design, 12 fps, multi-layer sensor.

- 65 AF points “All Cross-type”. Dual cross on the center point.
- 10fps
- ISO 100-12800, ISO Boost mode 25600 and 51200
- 1080p/720p both get 60fps
- Servo AF for video shooting.
- Anti-flicker mode, eliminates flickers under flickering lights (e.g. fluorescent lamps).
- Spot metering size 1.8%
- Built-in flash with radio trigger function.
- Mic and headphones connectors
- Can sync time between 7D II cameras.
- Lens electronic MF
- About 100% coverage OVF

Oh damn, thats lame! Just 20 MP ?! Fuck that “fine detail” C´mon Canon, this can´t be true..24 MP should be fine… I do not need 4K Video , but at least 120 fps! (Even the 5DIII shoots 60 fps -RAW- with magic lantern!) ISO could be one or two steps higher, but it wont have that much noise caused by the small sensor, Why no Multi layer sensor? No 1Dx Body.. Waited so hard for something good to stay at canon, but nikon def. does the race..
Do people really use these things for video except to make stupid unboxing videos for youtube? Touch screen? Give me knobs and buttons any day. Sounds like this and the previous 7D will out perform 99.999% of users anyway.
