According to an interview with Kimio Maki, Sony Corp by imaging-resource, Sony currently is working on uncompressed RAW for mirrorless cameras, this feature will coming to a7RII one day by a firmware update. And Kimio Maki also told us some great features of the new announced Sony alpha a7RII (Amazon | B&H | Adorama).
We have received more rumors on Sony’s next APS-C E-mount mirrorless camera, according to our source, it will also have 4K video recording as new announced Sony a7RII, RX10 II and RX100 IV, and this new mirrorless will not replace current Sony a6000, instead, it will most like to replace Sony NEX-7.

According to DPReview Administrators (who just wrote a hands-on Preview with Sony a7R II article), the new announced Sony Alpha a7R II (B&H Photo / Adorama)’s on-sensor phase-detection AF works “very well” with Canon EF lenses via Metabones Adapter.
Sony has just announced the new Sony a7RII full frame mirrorless camera, a 42.4MP mirrorless camera with an image stabilized full-frame BSI CMOS sensor. a7RII includes on-sensor phase detection elements for faster autofocus, which continues to work with other brands’ lenses. The camera also has a revised shutter mechanism, rated to 500,000 actuations but also promising less vibration than the one on its predecessor. The sensor is by far the largest backside illuminated CMOS chip to be released, allowing the maximum expanded ISO to rise two stops to 102,400.

Along with the new Sony a7R II 42.4MP full frame mirrorless camera, Sony today also announced two other cameras: Sony RX10 II and Sony RX100 IV. Both camera has 4K video recording and a new 1″ stacked 20MP CMOS sensor. The Sony RX10 II has the same lens Zeiss-branded 24-200mm equivalent F2.8 lens as RX10, and Sony RX100 II has the same lens 24-70mm equivalent F1.8-2.8 lens as RX100 IV. The price of Sony RX10 II is $1,298, the price of Sony RX100 IV is $948, both cameras will be in stock in July.
