According to SAR, Sony will soon announce two new cameras: Sony A7C II and Sony A7CR. Both the cameras will be announced within the next two months.
Sony A7C R will be the first high-resolution camera in Sony A7C series.
We don’t have any spec information, but new sources say Sony A7C II uses the same 33MP sensor as Sony A7 IV and Sony A7C R uses the same 61MP sensor as Sony A7R V. Both cameras will have new AI features, new menus, better AF, and other improvements you would normally expect.
The appearance of Sony A7C II has been rumored before, but this is the first rumor of the high-resolution Sony A7C R. We wonder if there were many requests for a high-pixel camera even with a box-type camera. There is no reliable information about the specs yet, but it seems that AI functions will be installed and overall improvements can be expected.
