Sony has officially released the firmware update version 2.0 for Sony a6400 (Amazon/B&H/Adorama) APS-C mirrorless camera. The main change of this firmware is add real-time eye AF for animals. You can download this firmware here.
Changes in this Firmware:
- Adds real-time Eye AF for animals
NOTES:- Detecting human and animal eyes simultaneously is not supported
- Depending on the environment, animal type, and the movement of the animal, eye detection may not be possible
- Refer to the Help Guide for additional information on updated functions
- Adds support for the RMT-P1BT wireless remote commander (sold separately)
- Improves the overall stability of the camera
