Rumors: Nikon D400 and Nikon D5 Could be Announced Together at CES 2016

After Canon’s EOS 7D Mark II released for years, there is still no Nikon D400, only some rumors around the web, in the past interview from Nikon managers, they confirmed Nikon hasn’t ignoring the DX line. According to latest updates from NikonRumors, the Nikon D400 (or another name: Nikon D9300) will be announced along with upcoming Nikon’s new flagship full frame DSLR camera Nikon D5 in early 2016, probably at CES 2016.

Rumored specs of Nikon D5:

  • New 20MP FX sensor (Socionext announced MN2WS03101A chip with 4k video capabilities, which will probably used on Nikon D5)
  • 4k video recording
  • 173 autofocus points
  • Native high ISO of 102,400
  • 15 fps
  • Body design similar to the D4S
