According to latest rumors on CR. The new Canon EOS C500 Mark II cinema camera will be able to shoot above 4K video, something like 6K or 8K video.
Canon was a bit late for 4K market, so they don’t want late again in the 6K or 8K market. The release date for C500 Mark II is rumored in Mid 2016. Stay tuned for more info.
