After Nikon announced the newNikon Nikkor Z 135mm F1.8 S Plena Lens (B&H/ Adorama), Nikon Nikkor Z 600mm F6.3 PF lens is also coming! According to NR, this new lens will be officially announced around October 10th.
This lens is expected to be about the same size and weight as the current Nikon Nikkor AF-S 500mm F5.6E PF ED VR.
Here’s what you can expect from this lens:
- Size and weight are similar to AF-S 500mm f/5.6E PF ED VR
- Price is around $4,000
- Weight approximately 3 lbs (1,390g)
The current Nikon Nikkor Z 180-600mm f/5.6-6.3 VR lens is very popular among Nikon’s super telephoto lenses, but for those who value portability, the compact and lightweight Z 600mm f/6.3 PF will likely be an attractive option.
