The Canon EOS 5D Mark IV is about to announced in late August / early September. Just in time for Photokina 2016. It is about 4 months away, we have received a new specs list of Canon EOS 5D Mark IV from CanonRumors. These specs is from an unknown source, just take it with a grain of salt.

nikon, sony, or any other brand for that matter… here I come. If that is the dissapointing spec list they made us wait for for so long, what are they thinking???
This would have been amazing 3 to 4 years ago… ok two years ago and a waste of time one year ago. At this point, why spend 3500 on that? I guess Canon sets their pricing based on the amount of time it takes to get an update? At this rate this camera would have to do for at least 5 years, so i guess thats only 700 per year.
Lets take a shitty camera and slap some 4k on it, then sell it for top dollar?

no doubt, and the moron that commented on my post, ??? Get a brain is all I can think about him, like 24 MP is something to get excited about in 2016/17 with less specs than the D810 all around or the A7R II , let alone likely Sony will have an A7R III by fall as well the D850 likely
If Canon are that stupid to release a 24.2 MP camera as a year overdue release, they might as well close the doors and fold the company.
They already have a high MP camera, 24MP would be totally acceptable as long as they improve the DR quite a bit. Don’t forget that people were upset with the MkIII when it was announced around the same time as the D800, and look how popular it is today.
Are you just an idiot or work for Canon ? 2 MP increase after what will be almost 5 years. D800, the D850 is coming out by fall as well, the 810 has 36 MP and better that these specs by far moron.

It has to be a hoax though, I just can’t believe this is what they would release. Even if this came in around the $2000 mark, i would not be interested in the slightest. again, if you keep in to consideration how long it has to last before upgrade, there is no way it would be a good investment with those specs.
