There are rumors online that the product names of the code names “Rene” and “Wilson” developed by Leica have been confirmed.
The name of the Leica camera under development at Leica FOTOS updated on 7/17 is confirmed.
- Wilson = LEICA Q3
- Rene = LEICA M11 MONOCHROM
The source is a post on a huge bulletin board, and the poster seems to be the usual person. Previously, there was a post in the Leica app Leica FOTOS that the code names “Rene” and “Wilson” of the unpublished digital camera under test are listed. “Wilson” is Leica Q3 and “Rene” is Leica M11 Monochrome. It seems likely that Leica’s next new product will be one (or both) of these models.
