Fujifilm X-T30 III to be Announced on October 23

Good News!!! The upcoming Fujifilm X-T30 III will be Announced on October 23, 2025.

  • New Processor: The most significant upgrade would be the X-Processor 5 (from the X-T5, X-H2, and X-S20). This is a major leap, enabling:

  • Advanced Autofocus: Drastically improved AI subject detection for animals, birds, cars, and airplanes.

  • Improved Performance: Faster overall operation and better battery life.

  • Video Enhancements: Likely 6.2K/30p video, oversampled from the 40MP sensor.

  • New Sensor: It’s a toss-up between the 40.2MP sensor (from the X-T5) or the proven 26.1MP X-Trans CMOS 4. The 40MP sensor is the more exciting and plausible option for a new model.

  • IBIS (In-Body Image Stabilization): This is the biggest question. Adding IBIS would be a game-changer for the series but could increase the size and price. It’s considered a hopeful maybe by many.

In short, an “X-T30 III” would represent a massive generational jump, transforming it from a classic, capable compact camera into a modern powerhouse that borrows the best tech from Fujifilm’s current flagship models.

Be sure to check Fujifilm’s official channels on or before October 23 for any official announcement.
