Sony A1 Sensor Review : “Speed and Quality in One”

Kevin Carter (DxOMark.com) has just posted a full review of the newly released Sony Alpha a1 (Amazon/ B&H/ Adorama).  With an overall sensor score of 98, Sony Alpha a1 achieved 9th position in their overall sensitivity ranking (including medium format) and 7th place for full-frame cameras. That places Sony A1 fractionally behind the Sony A7R IV and Nikon Z7 II at 99 and 100 respectively, and  in front of the Canon EOS R5 at 95 points by less than 0.2EV in overall sensitivity.
