Canon EOS R8 Initial Monthly Production Volume : 11,000 !

Newswich.JP reported the initial monthly productions of the newly announced Canon EOS R8 (Amazon/ B&H/ Adorama) is planned to be 11,000 units!

Canon will release Canon EOS R8  in late April. The weight has been reduced to about 461 grams and the size is about 132.5 mm wide x 86.1 mm high x 70 mm deep, making it easy to carry.  Since the initial monthly production volume of Canon EOS R6 Mark II is 23,000 units and Canon EOS R5 is 12,000 units, the initial production volume of EOS R8 is less than Canon EOS R5, and it is not so much as a full-size mirrorless entry camera.   However, since Canon EOS R8 is currently in short supply, it may not be possible to produce more units than this.

It was developed for people who are new to using a camera equipped with a 35mm full-frame sensor. Canon EOS R8 has inherited the performance of the high-end model Canon EOS R6 Mark II such as wide range autofocus (AF) and subject detection.
