The Map Times posted the best selling new cameras in April 2023. Sony a7 IV (Amazon/ B&H/ Adorama) wins the top 1 poistion, folowed by Canon EOS R6 Mark II () and Canon EOS R8 (Amazon/ B&H/ Adorama ).

- Sony a7 IV continues to be very popular, but the new product Sony ZV-E1 ranked 6th, which seems to be a modest start compared to the launch of the ZV-1 and ZV-E10 in the same ZV series. Canon EOS R8 started in 3rd place, which isn’t bad, but it doesn’t seem to have much momentum.
- Fujifilm has been in a shortage of supply since last year, but recently it has become more serious, so it seems that the situation where it is difficult to obtain cameras will continue for a while.
- Although Nikon has maintained its popularity with Nikon Z9 just before the Z8 was announced, it will be interesting to see what happens after Nikon Z8 is released.
- Also, in the ranking including interchangeable lens cameras, Ricoh ranked 7th and 8th in the GR series, which has been on the market for some time, which seems to be a great fight.
