According to recently rumors from Canon Rumors, the next “L” lens from Canon will be a fast wide-angle zoom lens. This lens could be long rumored EF 16-35mm f/2.8L III lens or EF 15-35mm f/2.8L lens.
The announcement date of this lens will be in next several months, mostly when EF 35mm f/1.4L II USM lens stock levels are good and we have a new camera body or two. We will also see some new non-L lenses like 70-300mm, 50mm f/1.4 and more.
