Leica has just registered a new camera code “7741” in Indonesian certification body. Similar as Leica Q2‘s code “4489”, this camera code is also marked as “Digital Still Camera”.
Leica has just announced the new Leica Q2 full frame compact camera several days ago, now according to a Leica Italy representative, he answered a question on Facebook that upcoming Leica SL2 will be released in June, 2019. The comment was deleted later.
According to Nokishita Camera, the Japanese price for Leica Q2 is JPY 702,000, converted to US price is $6,300, but US price is usually much lower, expected US price for Leica Q2 is around $5,495.00.

According to Nokishita Camera, Leica will soon announce a new compact camera called “D-LUX 7”. The code of this camera is “3952”, already registered in the certification body.
