Rumors: Panasonic FZ300 will Use Sony 4/3 Sensor, 4K Video, Leica 24-400mm Lens.

According to latest rumors from 43R, the upcoming Panasonic FZ300 will use Sony’s 4/3 sensor, and will be able to shoot 4K video  full sensor readout clean. The lens will be Leica 24-400mm lens. Release date for this camera will be in September, 2015. According to the source, FZ300 will also replace current FZ1000.

  • Sony 4/3 image sensor
  • Leica 24-400mm lens, F1.8 – F4, with F1.8 up to 30mm, and at 200mm F 2.8.
  • Mic input, 4K video full sensor readout clean (no crop)
  • Capacitive touchscreen, articulating LCD, and 2.36m EVF.
  • Price in US will be $1,499
