This is the first image of the upcoming Panasonic 100mm F2.8 Macro Lens, leaked at L-Rumors online. It is scheduled to be officially announced on January 8th, 2024.
Previously, there were rumors that the minimum focusing distance of Panasonic’s 100mm macro lens would be 0.204m, but in this leaked image, 0.204m is actually printed on the lens barrel. The shortest shooting distance for a 100mm macro lens at 100mm magnification is usually around 0.3m, so Panasonic’s macro seems to be able to get much closer than usual, so it may be a macro with a higher magnification than the 100mm macro lens.
