Olympus PEN E-P7 and M.Zuiko Digital ED 8-25mm F4 Pro Lens Officially Announced

Olympus has just officially announced the new Olympus PEN E-P7 and Olympus M.Zuiko Digital ED 8-25mm F4 Pro lens (Pre-order at Amazon/ B&H/ Adorama).

Olympus PEN E-P7  is a rangefinder-style Micro Four Thirds mirrorless camera, featuring a 20MP sensor ,  5-axis in-body image stabilization, an downward-tilting 3″ touchscreen with 1.04 million dots, a 121-point contrast-detect AF system with face and eye detection, 4K/30p video at a bit rate of 102Mbps, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth.


Olympus M.Zuiko Digital ED 8-25mm F4 Pro lens is 16-50mm equivalent lens for Micro Four Thirds. This new lens has 16 elements, which include Super ED, ED and EDA glass. A large ‘DSA’ element reduces sagittal comatic aberration, and the ‘ZERO’ coating reduces flare and ghosting. It has a minimum focus distance of 23cm (9″) across the focal range and a magnification of 0.42x. Seventy-two millimeter filters are supported.
