Nikon retro full frame camera will not have video, to be announced on November 6th

According to newest rumors from NR, there is no video option on upcoming Nikon full frame hybrid retro camera, this means you can only take photos on this cameras. It is likely to be announced on November 6, 2013.

And here are updated specs of this retor full frame camera:

  • Nikon FM2 like design
  • No video recording capabilities
  • Standard F-mount
  • 16.2MP 36×23,9 full frame sensor (same sensor as Nikon D4)
  • EXPEED 3 processor
  • Pentaprism viewfinder (meaning the camera will not be mirrorless)
  • SD memory card
  • 2016-pixel RGB image sensor
  • 9-cell framing grid display
  • 3D color matrix metering II
  • Native ISO range: 100-12800 (incl. ISO 50 and ISO 108,200)
  • 5.5 fps for up to 100 shots
  • 3.2″ LCD screen
  • The camera will meter even with non-AI lenses down to full aperture
  • The camera will ship with a new special edition AF-S Nikkor 50mm f/1.8G lens to match the look/design of the body
  • Battery:EN-EL14
  • Dimensions: 143.5 x 110 x 66.5mm (Sony A7/A7R is 127 x 94 x 48mm)
  • Weight: 765g (physical controls and excellent build quality) (Sony A7/A7R is 470g)
