The successor of Canon EOS M is rumored to be announced in this summer. A few new compact zoom and telephoto zoom lenses will also be announced. It was mentioned that Canon doesn’t have plans currently to launch more EOS M prime lenses, as they see the segment as “entry level”. Some new patents announced yesterday may related to EOS M successor.
