Two new cameras are coming! According to LR, Leica SL3 and Panasonic S2R will be Released in 2024.

- Panasonic’s 100mm macro lens is scheduled to be announced in January.
- The high-pixel Leica SL3 will be released in early 2024.
- Panasonic will release a high pixel model (S2R) in the second half of 2024.
The authenticity is unknown, but if it’s true, it looks like next year we’ll see a plethora of L-mount high-pixel cameras. There have been rumors about SL3 for a while, but this is the first time we’ve heard about Panasonic S2R. Details are unknown, but the SL3 and S2R sensors are likely to be around 60 million pixels, which is standard for high-pixel devices. We would like to see both models adopt image plane phase detection AF.
