Fujifilm GFX100 II will have an all-new sensor, an X Processor 5, lots of new features, and will be significantly cheaper than the current Fujifilm GFX100, which now costs $9,999at B&H, despite inflation and parts shortages.
According to a recent survey, 90% of people were surprised by the price. 47% thought it would be more expensive, 10% thought it was reasonably priced, and 43% expected it to be more affordable. We are the ones of those who thought it would be a little higher than $7,500.
The current price of the GFX100 is $9,999 at B&H, so if the successor GFX100 II costs $7,499, that’s a big price drop. That’s about $1,500 more than the GFX100S, but considering recent inflation and the specs of the previously leaked GFX100II, that seems like a pretty drastic price point. With this price difference from the GFX100S, many people may choose the new Fujifilm GFX100 II.
