Canon RF 24-105mm F2.8L IS lens is coming! According to the CR1, Canon will announce the new Canon RF 24-105mm F2.8L IS lens in the first half of 2023.
There is a lot of overlap at this focal length with the RF 24-70mm F2.8L IS, RF 24-105mm F4-7.1 IS STM and RF 24-105mm F4L IS, so adding a fourth lens here is unlikely.
It doesn’t seem to be a highly credible rumor, so it’s best not to expect too much at this moment, but Canon RF 24-105mm with F2.8 through is a lens with specs like no other. It will be interesting to see if it will be a fairly large, heavy and expensive lens.
