Source from Canon Rumors, a new Canon lens EF 24-70mm f/4L IS is coming, there is no news on the announcement date for this lens, but source told this lens will coming soon. Maybe a kit for the new Canon EOS 6D.
And the EF 24-70mm f/2.8L IS would also coming next year. We knew this prototype has existed for quite some time, however we figured the concept was dead with the release of the EF 24-70 f/2.8L II. If EF 24-70mm f/2.8L IS released, the EF 24-70 f/2.8L II will drop in price over the next 12 months, as you can see by the recent big drops to the EOS 5D Mark III.
The Canon EF 24-70mm f/2.8L II lens now in stock at Amazon.com.
