Weibo China leaked the first images of the upcoming Samyang AF 12mm F2.0 Lens for Canon RF-S mount.
Samyang’s new Canon RF-S AF12mm F2.0 lens has been unveiled, with a 62mm filter interface and a minimum focusing distance of 0.2 meters. Samyang may become another optical brand that has obtained the Canon R-mount mirrorless lens license after Voigtlander, Sigma, and Tamron.
In addition, reliable sources indicate that three Chinese optical brands are known to be negotiating with Canon on the R-mount lens license, waiting for substantial progress or the timing to announce it to the public.
