If the information that the price of Sony A9 III is in the mid-$4,000 range (according to the title of the original article is $4,500) is true, then the current selling price of the A9 II at B&H is $4,498, so the price will remain almost the same. If the rumored specs are actually achieved, it looks like it will be a very appealing camera.
The current Sony A9 II (Amazon/ B&H/ Adorama) was officially announced in October 2019. It is more than three years ago.
