NikonRumors has confirmed that the two low light high ISO photos are not taken by a new Nikon DSLR camera, instead these two photos are take by a Nikon D750 DSLR camera with a new 20MP sensor specifically designed for low light photography.
There is currently nothing more talk about this new 20MP sensor. Stay tuned for more info.

This article (and rumor) is incorrect.
These photos were taken by a standard, unmodified Nikon D750 at 24 megapixels (6016 x 4016 px), as you can see in the full resolution photo that Nikon Rumors posted here:

Nikon Rumors confirms this in their article that you linked above:
“As far as I am concerned, based on this photo, this could have been taken with a regular 24MP D750 camera (over the last two days I was told multiple times that the sensor was 20MP and it appears to be 24MP based on the EXIF).”

The image size 6010 x 4016 indicates a 24 MP chip.
D5 has 5568 x 3712 -20.8 MP resolution. If the new D760 will have specs as D5, better to use a D5 for testing…
