Hmmm Nikon needs to do way better. New high MP cameras with new generation sensors and processors, will be announced at Photokina. Which will leave the D800s looking like mutton dressed as lamb.
Looking over Specs List, the improvements of the new Nikon camera are not so impressive – but I’m wondering why the new D800s will be made in Thailand as the sale price will be higher then d800E ?
well, I don’t see the point to buy D800s.
And it is said to be lighter than D800… I hate holding a light camera in my hands.
The Nikon factory was wiped out in the big tsunami and had more troubles after that. They probably haven’t rebuilt entirely, plus it’s now radioactive in Northern Japan…
