  1. Need to be faster 10FPS or better, larger buffer, dual or quad SDHC Card slots, WiFi and GPS. They can also just forget about shooting video with it, unnecessary for this body.
This has taken WAY too long not to have killer specs.
Otherwise it will just need to be updated/replaced in a year anyway.

  2. These specs make no sense as it would basically be a 70D with a metal body. I saw a list of specs with higher resolution, better video features, 2 memory slots, etc that make more sense.

  3. This makes more sense:

New sensor with new Dual Pixel CMOS AF tech, not same as 70D’s
Auto-Focus system similar to the EOS 5D Mark III (61 points)
    High frame rate, 10-12 fps
“high grade” weather sealing, will have a baby 1D X design
    Dual Digic V+ processor
    Single card slot
    WiFi & GPS
7D Mark II will become a video oriented DSLR camera. So beyond a “pro” APS-C camera, it will also be highly desirable for the videographer.
    Price around $2000
    Very good ISO performance 100-25,600

  4. The 7D Mk II needs at least a 24MP sensor. Industry standard in this class. (Nikon D7100, Sony A77 II)
I’m still using a Canon 50D and would like to replace it… But the 70D is not worth the money, so my hopes are on the 7D MkII… If Canon keeps failing like they dit in the last two years, I’ll pick up a Sony or Nikon.
