Rumors: Sony A7000 will Have On Sensor Stabilization, Release Date in Mid 2015

According to a new source from SAR, the rumored Sony A7000 APS-C E-mount mirrorless camera will be released in Mid 2015. It will be the first APS-C camera with 5 axis on sensor stabilization feature.

This 5 axis on sensor stabilization was first featured on Sony A7 II, which is announced last months. Below are previous rumored specs of Sony A7000:

  • A brand new 24MP image sensor
  • 4K video (uncompressed output)
  • 1/8000 shutter speed
  • Coming with a new version of the 16-50mm powerzoom dubbed version II with much improved quality
  • Weather sealing
  • Rangefinder style
  • New 16-70mm Zeiss Lens with weather sealing
