Tamron has announced the new ultra-wide zoom lens: Tamron SP 15-30mm f/2.8 DI VC USD. This lens is designed for full frame cameras. Available for Canon, Nikon and Sony mount, this full-frame lens is the first in its class to offer image stabilization according to Tamron. The lens has an ultrasonic focusing motor, ‘eBAND’ and fluorine coatings, and a 9-blade diaphragm. The 15-30 is less than 145mm (5.7in.) long and weigh in at roughly 1.1kg (2.4 lbs).
