Along with upcoming EOS M5 Mark II and full frame mirrorless camera, Canon is also confirmed to announce at least two new super telephoto lenses for the upcoming Photokina 2018.
According to CR, Canon is going to update two new super telephoto prime lenses in 2018. Canon has already updated 4 new super telephoto prime lenses in last several years, first the EF 300mm f/2.8L IS II & EF 400mm f/2.8L IS II came, followed by the EF 500mm f/4L IS II & EF 600mm f/4L IS II a few months later.

The Canon EF 600mm f/4L IS DO BR USM lens was previous announced at Canon EXPO in September 2015. Now according to CR, this lens will be officially launched at the second half of 2017.

Canon recently filed a new lens patent for EF 600mm f/4 DO IS USM lens. This is another super telephoto prime DO lens. Last year, Canon announced the EF 400mm f/4 DO IS II USM lens, price for $6,899, currently in stock at Amazon.
