More Leaked Images of DJI Mini 5 Pro, to be Announced in Mid-September

DJI’s highly anticipated Mini 5 Pro drone is set to make its debut in mid-September, with new leaked images and availability details surfacing just days before the official launch. The upcoming release promises to build upon the success of its predecessor, the Mini 4 Pro, while introducing several notable enhancements.

Recent official press renders shared by insider Igor Bogdanov reveal the Mini 5 Pro from multiple angles, showcasing its refined design and improved sensor array. The leaked images confirm that the drone maintains the same 81 dB noise level as the Mini 4 Pro, ensuring quiet operation for discreet filming sessions.

One of the most significant upgrades visible in the renders is the addition of new LiDAR sensors positioned on both the bottom and front of the aircraft. These advanced sensors will significantly enhance obstacle detection capabilities, particularly during low-light and nighttime operations, addressing a key limitation of previous mini drone models.

A promotional poster featuring the tagline “Pro in Mini” has also emerged online, though the image quality remains relatively low. The poster appears to show the Mini 5 Pro in action, emphasizing DJI’s continued focus on delivering professional-grade capabilities in a compact form factor.

While the initial launch date was scheduled for September 16, 2025, recent retailer database information suggests the drone may become available on September 18, 2025. This slight delay could indicate final preparations for global distribution or potential supply chain adjustments.

The Mini 5 Pro represents DJI’s ongoing commitment to miniaturization without compromise, offering content creators and drone enthusiasts a powerful tool that balances portability with professional features.
