DJI Mini 4K Leaked, to be Announced on April 29th, 2024

Amazon US has just leaked the upcoming DJI Mini 4K on their website. This new mini drone will be officially announced on April 29th, 2024, at 9am EDT.

According to leaked info, the design of Mini 4K appears to be identical to the current entry-level model, the Mini 2 SE.

The Mini 4K will become the most affordable DJI drone capable of shooting 4K video, making it an attractive option for beginners looking for their first camera-equipped drone. While the exact specifications are yet to be confirmed, it is expected to feature a 12MP 1/1.3-inch sensor, similar to the one used in the Mini 2.

Although the Mini 4K is unlikely to include some of the advanced features found in the Mini 4 Pro, such as omni-directional object sensing and D-Log M color profile, it will still be a welcome refresh of DJI’s entry-level model. The drone is expected to weigh less than 250g, offer a maximum flight time of around 30 minutes, up to 10km HD video transmission, and moderate Level 5 wind resistance.
