    1. The D700 is now and for the forseeable future, a fantastic camera! My only wish would be a dual card slot. I do sports photography, so no need for more Mega Pixels. Unless you need higher MP, got the D700!! Check the Nikon website for refurbs for under $2K.

  1. Rumors are rumors. Your wait can be long. I am guessing that is wont be a full frame since the body will be bulky. It might be better than APSC and less than Full like canon’s APSH.
I got my D800 for USD2700 and I dont think nikon would give another full frame for half that in just 3 months of launch, that will kill D800.

  2. There is a thin line between an entry level camera and a professional camera, I have been shooting photos to make a living for 15 years and I have used entry level cameras and professional cameras too, finding no big differences between them in terms of image quality and construction, is up to you if you want to break the thin line a mentioned before, you can make an entry level camera perform as a proffesional.

If there will be a D600 I will buy it. a full frame sensor camera at a low price seems to be expected for so many photographers… Including me.
